Dr. McMinn (previously Webb) is a 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at California Lutheran University where she studied Biological Sciences, and was president of her pre-veterinary club. She grew up riding horses in sunny Southern California about 35 miles north of Los Angeles, where she competed in hunters and jumpers, and worked as an assistant trainer. During undergrad she worked as a vet assistant for a large equine hospital for 5 years, which was owned by a boarded equine surgeon and internal medicine veterinarian. Her job included assistance with ambulatory work, overnight patient care, emergency referrals, lameness, reproduction services, as well as colic and elective surgeries. She began working there in hopes to become a registered vet tech, but her love of horses quickly evolved into a passion for veterinary medicine and she decided to pursue veterinary school. While in veterinary school at Ohio State she fell in love with the beautiful green Ohio countryside and the Midwest values. She met her Cleveland born husband and they decided to put down roots in Cincinnati. They moved to their farm a few years ago and just welcomed a beautiful baby girl this past Spring! She already is obsessed with animals just like her mama!
