Dr. Angela Mangine is a 2025 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Auburn University and a Master of Science in Veterinary Science from the University of Kentucky. Following vet school, she completed a sport horse and racetrack focused internship in Lexington, KY. She grew up in Northern Kentucky, owning and showing American Saddlebreds for over 20 years. From an early age, she wanted to help horses feel their best. She has a special interest in lameness and diagnostic imaging, loving to uncover the source of discomfort or poor performance. She is passionate about providing meaningful educational experiences to those interested in learning about the equine industry, something she pursued as first a Wet Lab Coordinator and then as President of PennVet’s SCAAEP. Dr. Mangine enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outside with her husband Jacob and their 4-legged children – two dogs, Bentley and Peyton, and a Shetland pony, Niki.
