Avery Martin, D.V.M

Dr. Avery Martin is a 2024 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky majoring in Animal Science while working at the Gluck Equine Research Center participating in parasitology research. During Dr. Avery’s time at Purdue University, she worked in the large animal hospital assisting residents and clinicians with emergencies and in-patient care. In her free time, could often be found riding horses. After veterinary school Dr. Avery completed an internship at Piedmont Equine Associates in Madison GA. This is where she developed special interests in reproduction, neonatal care, general practice and emergency medicine. With a genuine passion for both horses and their owners, Dr. Avery is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her clients by providing compassionate, individualized, optimum care. In her spare time, you can often find her riding Izzy, her quirky paint mare, baking, reading or playing with one of her various fur children – Bella, a corgi mix, and Sushi and Julius her cats.
